How do you use the SkinClean skin care system?

How to use SkinClean Daily Wash
 

Morning and evening, clean your face with our Deep Cleaning Daily Skin Wash.  It thoroughly cleanses while it removes dead skin and other facial impurities. Once you have switched from your normal detergent soap to our daily wash, you will feel a difference immediately, and should notice a big difference in your complexion within three weeks. Combine the Daily Wash with the Weekly Scrub which (obviously) we recommend to be used every seven days.

 
1. Splash warm water on the face, throat and chest, or any other areas where problem skin is experienced.
2. Wet your hands thoroughly. 
3.  Spread a small amount (about a teaspoonful)  of SkinClean Daily Wash onto your  palm. 
4.  Lather using the palms of both hands, and  then apply to face, neck and other areas. 
5. Massage into the skin by using a very gentle circular motion. Do not ever rub harshly; it simply is not necessary.  Use a washcloth if you like, massaging in gently.
6. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.  Rinse multiple times until the skin feels completely cleansed.

How to use the SkinClean Weekly Scrub
 

This is for many users a once a week (morning and evening) treatment.  On the day that you use the Weekly scrub, do not use the Daily wash.  As you become familiar with the SkinClean system, you will discover experimentally that you may find that you can use the Weekly scrub more often and gain extremely satisfactory results.  Let your personal experience be your guide.

How to use the SkinClean Daily Clarifying Toner
 

Contrary to information that attempts to disparage alcohol toners, we have found that the non-alcohol toners simply lack effectiveness for use in a problem skin care regimen.  SkinClean users have enthusiastically welcomed the SkinClean Clarifying toner. 

1.  Use following every usage of both the SkinClean Daily and Weekly treatments.  This is actually your second step in the SkinClean regimen.  Use toner after washing your skin with either the SkinClean Daily Wash or the Weekly Scrub. 
2.   Apply with a cotton ball or pad.  Use real cotton balls; never use synthetics. 
3.   Saturate (wet) the cotton ball with toner and apply thoroughly over all the skin which you have cleansed.
4.   Wet another cotton ball and repeat the process. 
5.   Your skin is now ready for the application of a quality moisturizer.

Moisturize!
Of course, most women already know to do this, but we mention it, because we serve both men and women.  It really just means hydrating and protecting the skin. Used twice daily on dampened skin, a good moisture cream (for example, Clinique Acne Solutions Daytime Shield moisturizer) will significantly aid in creating a barrier protecting your skin from invading bacteria and airborne impurities. Its' anti-aging formula also hydrates, protects, and helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles, for those who have that interest. Moisture cream should be used in conjunction with the SkinClean Daily Wash,  the Weekly Scrub and the SkinClean Daily Clarifying Toner.

Use SkinClean independently.
When using SkinClean, you don't need products which contain glycolic acid, or salicylic acid, or benzoyl peroxide. Such products may irritate the skin, because SkinClean alone effectively achieves the exfoliation benefit you would be seeking with those products.

They should be a part of your regimen.

 
Other recommended Skin Care Steps:

Exercise aerobically (minimum is brisk walking for fifteen minutes) at least five times a week.  Increased capillary capability and delivery of oxygen to the tissues is important for skin health.   A good exercise program promotes better sleep.
Eat healthy. Avoid refined, simple carbohydrates like white bread and sugars (increase complex carbs like fruits and vegetables and whole grain bread), and minimize the intake of fatty foods. Eat raw or lightly cooked (steamed) vegetables in quantity.  Focus on your fiber intake so that you are getting up to 7 grams of dietary fiber daily.  Get your protein from broiled and grilled fish and chicken.  Sure, there are studies which show that specific foods may not contribute to acne.  But, you know when you eat poorly, your system functions incorrectly.  Elimination of toxins in the body through good nutrition promotes good robust health, which is reflected in your skin's condition. 
Change your pillow cases and bed sheets daily.  This is an essential secret for healthy skin,  an important part of any skincare regimen.
Take a daily multi-vitamin complex.  GNC's (www.gnc.com) Mega series or equivalent.
Shampoo your hair daily.  Use conditioners with caution; most are comedogenic.
Drink water or diluted juices.  Increasing fluid intake is critical in a problem skin program because it remarkably improves elimination of toxic materials.  Anyone needs at least 1/2 oz of water intake daily for each pound of body weight.  With problem skin your body needs to have its' elimination system functioning at peak efficiency.  That is why 3/4 to 1 oz of water per pound has been shown to be most effective in a skin care regimen.  Remember, your skin is a giant elimination system. Your blood and skin cells use water as their vehicle in the mechanism which flushes away the waste of cellular metabolism.
Add yogurt to your daily diet.  Be sure it contains live acidophilis culture (eg:Dannon).
Get eight or nine hours of sleep every night.  Sleep extra hours whenever possible to repay any sleep debt you incurred during the week.  Sleep is when your body heals.
